Getting to Orcas Island

Despite its seclusion, Orcas Island is easily accessible from multiple locations:

  • By Seaplane: Kenmore Air offer scheduled and charter seaplane service directly to Deer Harbor Marina, Rosario Resort and West Sound from Lake Union and Lake Washington

  • By Air: (Wheeled Plane). Regional carries like Kenmore Air and San Juan Airlines provide direct flight and chartered flights to Eastsound Airport from SeaTac. Boeing Field, Bellingham and Anacortes.

  • By Ferry: Washington State Ferries operate multiple daily routes from the Anacortes Ferry Terminal to Orcas Island. Vehicle reservations are strongly recommended, though walk-on and bike passengers can board without them.

  • By Private Boat: Orcas offers several marina options. Deer Harbor Marina and Cayou Quay Marina are both within minutes of the estate with full-service amenities, moorage and seaplane access.
