Finishes and Design Elements

A blend of natural materials and modern craftsmanship defines the home’s understated elegance. In the main living areas, European white oak ceilings pair seamlessly with large-format Italian tile flooring—selected for its concrete-inspired aesthetic and low-maintenance durability. A striking architectural staircase, with 2½-inch solid oak treads and contrasting steel risers, creates a floating effect that is both sculptural and functional.

Beauty and Durability

Pelle Grigio marble is used consistently throughout the home, from fireplace surrounds to feature walls and spa-like bathrooms, unifying the interiors with its organic movement and coastal tones. Tile and stone surfaces—both indoors and out—were selected to mirror the natural hues and flow of the surrounding marine landscape.
Cabinetry, trim, floating benches, window sills, and shelving are all clad in Shinnoki Ivory Oak, a refined Belgian-engineered wood that brings warmth and cohesion to each space. Interior cabinet finishes are fabricated from thermally structured veneer with a water-resistant core—offering both beauty and durability. Cabinet surfaces alternate between dark gray schist stone slab and white Krion countertops, which were selected for their antimicrobial properties, seamless integration, and modern elegance. All bathrooms and the laundry room feature Krion counters with integrated sinks for a minimalist, hygienic finish.

At center stage, a solid reclaimed oak table seats ten, illuminated by a trio of Tom Dixon Beat pendants that cast a sculptural golden glow.

Tucked just off the dining room, the custom coffee and wine bar room is completely wrapped in European white oak, designed for both beauty and performance. It features a Sub-Zero wine cooler and beverage center, a built-in plumbed Miele coffee system, stone countertops, a prep sink, and a discreet Miele warming drawer for effortless entertaining. Accordion-style upper cabinets open with sensor lighting to reveal crystal and glassware, enhancing the ambiance.

Whether hosting a dinner party or sipping a quiet morning latte, this refined space effortlessly blends form and function.

works of art

Hot-rolled steel details—featured in fireplace surrounds, stair railings, and structural accents—were custom-fabricated by a local artisan, adding one-of-a-kind character to the home’s contemporary aesthetic. The staircases and handrails throughout are true works of art, balancing strength and sculptural beauty.
